The library wall light: a black shade on a fluted brass rod, the light falling just where you read.
The Bureau has the line of a gentleman’s club or an old reading room. A slim rod with fine vertical flutes rises from a horizontal arm on a square wall plate, all in a hand-antiqued brass finish, and carries a tapered black shade. The shade keeps the light low and warm, so it falls onto a page, a bedside table or a console rather than into your eyes.
- Fluted brass rod: a finely ribbed stem in a hand-applied antiqued brass finish.
- Black empire shade: a dark metal shade, Ø 25 cm at the opening, directing the light down.
- Reading height: L 25 × W 27 × H 40 cm, for either side of a bed, a mirror or a desk.
- Bulb included: 1 × E14 LED, warm white, ready to fit.
Made for bedsides, studies, reading corners, either side of a mirror or a fireplace, and hotel rooms and bars.

A note from Selden Home
Chosen for British homes · contact@seldenhome.com
Dear reader,
Selden Home began with a problem most of us know: a room lit by one flat ceiling light, and nothing between the high street and the designer showroom to put it right.
So we choose every light for how it behaves once the evening draws in: the warmth of its glow, the glare, the pool it throws. Then we show it lit, in rooms like yours. If you are unsure about a size or a finish, send us a photo of your room and one of us will reply.
With warm regards,
From all of us at Selden Home
