Ribbed cognac glass, set on a solid walnut base.
The Dovetail pairs a sculpted walnut body with a ribbed cognac-glass globe, for a lamp that reads as warm even switched off.
- Solid wood base in a walnut finish — not a veneer over composite.
- Ribbed cognac glass diffuser softens the light to an amber glow rather than a bare bulb.
- Brass-gold architectural ring ties the two materials together.
Made for: living room side tables and bedside surfaces that need warmth rather than brightness.

Walnut, brass and cognac glass
Warm even before it is switched on
The Dovetail is a tapered walnut base under a wide disc of cognac glass. Lit, the glass glows and the light falls softly onto the table around it; unlit, it still reads as a small piece of furniture.
-
Solid wood base
A tapered base in solid wood with a walnut finish, not a veneer over composite, set off by a brass ring and stem.
-
No bulb to buy
A warm 3000K LED is built in under the cognac glass, rated for about 50,000 hours. A switch on the cable turns it on and off.

A note from Selden Home
Chosen for British homes · contact@seldenhome.com
Dear reader,
Selden Home began with a problem most of us know: a room lit by one flat ceiling light, and nothing between the high street and the designer showroom to put it right.
So we choose every light for how it behaves once the evening draws in: the warmth of its glow, the glare, the pool it throws. Then we show it lit, in rooms like yours. If you are unsure about a size or a finish, send us a photo of your room and one of us will reply.
With warm regards,
From all of us at Selden Home
