Solid wood overhead does something no painted shade manages.
A turned dome, ribbed the whole way round, cut from a single piece of wood. The ridges catch the light and throw a soft grain of shadow across the ceiling, warming the room before the bulb has done any real work.
- Solid wood throughout: shade, fixture and body — no veneer, no plastic core.
- Two finishes: pale wood for a lighter, organic room, walnut for depth and formality.
- Ribbed dome: the texture catches light and gives the ceiling something to hold.
- Focused downward pool: warm light over a bedside, a table or a reading chair.
Made for bedrooms, living rooms and dining nooks of roughly 5–10 m².

A note from Selden Home
Chosen for British homes · contact@seldenhome.com
Dear reader,
Selden Home began with a problem most of us know: a room lit by one flat ceiling light, and nothing between the high street and the designer showroom to put it right.
So we choose every light for how it behaves once the evening draws in: the warmth of its glow, the glare, the pool it throws. Then we show it lit, in rooms like yours. If you are unsure about a size or a finish, send us a photo of your room and one of us will reply.
With warm regards,
From all of us at Selden Home
