Painted by hand, so no two are quite the same.
An 18 cm ribbed ceramic shade, painted in natural tones with fine blue lines, finished with brass detail and a twisted fabric flex. Six patterns, and the warm bulb is included.
- Hand-painted ceramic: brush marks and small irregularities are the point, not a fault.
- Brass and fabric flex: warm metal detail on a twisted cord, adjustable to 180 cm.
- Warm 3000 K bulb included: nothing else to buy before it goes up.
- Six patterns: hang one low beside a bed, or three above a dining table.
Made for bedsides, dining tables and kitchen counters in Japandi or relaxed, textured interiors.

Painted by hand
No two quite the same
The Kiln is the kind of piece you would expect to find in a pottery, not a lighting catalogue. Its blues and earth tones sit as happily beside a Belfast sink and a dresser of old plates as they do in a calm, modern kitchen.
-
Painted by hand
Every line is brushed on by hand, so the pattern varies a little from one shade to the next. A pair looks related, never machine-identical.
-
Fired ceramic
A ribbed ceramic shade, glazed and fired, which is where The Kiln takes its name. Small irregularities in the glaze are part of it.
-
Brass and a twisted fabric flex
Warm brass detail and a twisted fabric flex, adjustable to 180 cm. The warm 3000 K bulb is in the box.

Questions
How long will delivery take?
Delivery is free to every UK address. Allow 4–8 working days from your order; you’ll get a tracking link as soon as it’s dispatched.
Do I need an electrician?
Pendants, ceiling lights and hard-wired wall lights connect to a ceiling or wall point and should be fitted by a qualified electrician. Plug-in and rechargeable lamps need no fitting.
What if I change my mind?
You have 30 days from delivery to return any unused item in its original packaging for a refund. Return postage is at your own cost for change-of-mind returns; if an item arrives faulty or not as described, we cover the return in full. See our Refund Policy.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, every light comes with a 2-year warranty. If anything goes wrong, email contact@seldenhome.com with your order number.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
No. Selden Home delivers to UK addresses only.

A note from Selden Home
Chosen for British homes · contact@seldenhome.com
Dear reader,
Selden Home began with a problem most of us know: a room lit by one flat ceiling light, and nothing between the high street and the designer showroom to put it right.
So we choose every light for how it behaves once the evening draws in: the warmth of its glow, the glare, the pool it throws. Then we show it lit, in rooms like yours. If you are unsure about a size or a finish, send us a photo of your room and one of us will reply.
With warm regards,
From all of us at Selden Home
