One straight line of wood, and an even wash of light along the whole table.
The Joist is a slim linear pendant in wood, hung level on two fine cables. A concealed LED runs its full length behind an opal diffuser and sends a soft, even light straight down — bright enough to eat or work by, with no hot spot and no bare bulb in sight. A matching wood ceiling plate completes it.
- Wood body, two tones: Light Wood or Dark Wood, with the grain left visible.
- Full-length LED: an opal acrylic diffuser spreads warm 3000K light evenly from end to end.
- Four lengths: 80, 100, 120 or 150 cm, to sit comfortably within the length of your table or island.
- Hung level: two fine cables, each adjustable up to 150 cm.
Made for dining tables, kitchen islands and long desks that need good light without a heavy fitting overhead.

A note from Selden Home
Chosen for British homes · contact@seldenhome.com
Dear reader,
Selden Home began with a problem most of us know: a room lit by one flat ceiling light, and nothing between the high street and the designer showroom to put it right.
So we choose every light for how it behaves once the evening draws in: the warmth of its glow, the glare, the pool it throws. Then we show it lit, in rooms like yours. If you are unsure about a size or a finish, send us a photo of your room and one of us will reply.
With warm regards,
From all of us at Selden Home
