One material, doing the talking. A single cylinder of veined black marble on a pearl-black metal base. There is no shade, no diffuser and no ornament — the stone is the design, and its veining makes each piece unlike the last.
Scaled for the rooms in between. At 12 cm across it lights 5–10 m² comfortably: an entryway, a study, a landing. Close enough to the ceiling to stay out of the way, heavy enough in character to be noticed.
Takes a standard bulb. A conventional E27 socket, so you can fit whatever LED bulb suits the room. Rated IP20 — for indoor use, away from steam and splashes.
