A drum of stone on a post of wood, turned to where you read.
The Newel pairs two natural materials: a slim upright post of wood, in walnut or pale oak, and a round drum of natural travertine fixed on top of it. The drum turns, so you can point the light at the pillow, the armchair or the wall, and a warm LED underneath throws a soft pool of light downwards. Only 23 cm tall, it suits either side of a bed, a reading chair or a narrow hallway.

A note from Selden Home
Chosen for British homes · contact@seldenhome.com
Dear reader,
Selden Home began with a problem most of us know: a room lit by one flat ceiling light, and nothing between the high street and the designer showroom to put it right.
So we choose every light for how it behaves once the evening draws in: the warmth of its glow, the glare, the pool it throws. Then we show it lit, in rooms like yours. If you are unsure about a size or a finish, send us a photo of your room and one of us will reply.
With warm regards,
From all of us at Selden Home
